How to install the cookie banner on Shopify
Step by step, in about 5 minutes.
Your script
You'll find it in the dashboard, under Installation, with your site ID already filled in.

- In Shopify, go to Online Store → Themes.
- On your theme, click ⋯ → Edit code.
- Open layout/theme.liquid.
- Paste the script right after <head> and save.
After installing
- Click “Verify installation” in the dashboard: it tells you if it's in the right place.
- If you have embedded videos or maps, change src to data-cookigator-src.
- Paste the declaration script on your cookie policy page.
